Local Goverment
Role: Owners' Representative
Ongoing County Government Project
Recognizing early on that its location along major highway intersections would propel its region’s transition away from internal combustion engines (ICE) to electric vehicles (EV), one local government committed to achieving increased sustainability by deploying EVCI systems to meet the increased demand for EVs and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
As detailed in plans developed in 2012 and 2019, this county government is set to lead regional alternative fuel initiatives, encompassing:
Increased EVCI strategically located through a major interstate highway corridor.
Increased EVCI throughout the region.
A converted ICE-based fleet to EV-based fleet.
Added solar (PV) and battery energy storage (BESS) deployed strategically.
